Gdańsk is one of the major seaports in Poland and is also the 6th largest city. Situated right on the coast of the Gdańsk Bay, it is a popular spa town and offers some great opportunities in terms of sightseeing. It is a thousand year old city that is dotted with historical monuments and is always flooded in an array of colors. Most of the historical monuments of Gdańsk are situated in the old town district. Some of the places to see include Długie Pobrzeże (Long Quay), Brama Wyżynna (Upland gate), Katownia (Torture tower), Złota Brama (Golden Gate) and many more. One of the most interesting places is the Polish version of the Moulin Rouge called kabaret Ewan.
